PIETER M. O’LEARY is an experienced civil litigator whose current practice focuses on contracts, negligence, misrepresentation, construction, and business disputes.  Prior to joining Burdman Law Group, Mr. O’Leary represented individuals and business entities in both state and federal court in a wide variety of legal matters including construction site injuries, general premises liability claims, labor and employment disputes, and criminal matters.  


While in law school, Mr. O’Leary served as a judicial extern to Justice James A. McIntyre of the California Court of Appeal, Fourth District, Division One. Additionally, Mr. O'Leary was a certified intern with the California Attorney General's Office in the Criminal Division - Appeals, Writs, and Trials section where he drafted several Respondent Briefs on behalf of the State and successfully argued two cases before the California Court of Appeal. He was also a member of Law Review and the Dean’s Honor List.    


When time permits, he enjoys swimming, hiking, and cycling.
